Jason Deitering
Jason brewed his first batch of beer with friends in college. That college brew may not have been great but several years later he was reintroduced to brewing by an experienced home brewing neighbor and hasn’t looked back. He has been brewing regularly for ten years steadily improving his knowledge of ingredients, techniques and equipment. The desire to pass on the joy of brewing led to opening Yeastie Beastie Homebrew Supplies on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2016. From the initial opening, Jason has worked to expand the shop’s offerings to new ingredients, equipment and supplies. He seeks to make Yeastie Beastie the one stop on the Gulf Coast for brewing, wine making, mead making and other fermentation supplies.
